E.ST Brokers Limited is a Hong Kong-based marine insurance broker. We act for shipowners, managers, operators, charterers, banks and leasing companies in relation to marine insurance placements, insurance consultancy and claims.

Our work covers the principal classes of marine insurance, including Hull & Machinery, Increased Value, Loss of Hire, Strikes & Delay, War Risks, Protection & Indemnity, and Defence covers. We also have substantial experience in the insurance aspects of ship finance and leasing transactions, including Mortgagees' Interest, Innocent Owners' Interest and Additional Perils covers.

Consultancy

E.ST's Consultancy Team prepares insurance reports for vessel financing and leasing transactions. We review insurance arrangements against the requirements of the relevant finance documents, advise lenders and lessors on insurance requirements, and arrange the necessary insurance to protect their interests. After Drawdown, we continue to assist with renewals, policy amendments and claims-related matters.

E.ST Team has extensive experience in the Hong Kong, Mainland China and London markets, and longstanding relationships with Lloyd's syndicates, international marine insurers and reinsurers. This enables us to place complex risks in appropriate markets.

Our Claims and Legal Team assists clients with casualties and claims, from initial notification and claim presentation through to discussions with insurers and recovery.
